This Return Policy applies to all purchases made with DRJAYBOWN. Please read it carefully before placing your order.

1. General Return Conditions

Due to the nature of seeds as living, perishable products, we maintain a strict return policy to ensure quality and hygiene standards.

  • We do not accept returns of opened, planted, or used seed packets under any circumstances.
  • Returns are only considered for unopened seed packets in their original condition.

2. Eligible Returns

You may return items only in the following situations:

  • Wrong item shipped (incorrect variety or quantity)
  • Damaged or defective products upon receipt (e.g., torn packaging that compromises seed quality)
  • Products that arrived significantly later than estimated and are no longer viable for planting season (case-by-case)

3. Return Timeframe

  • You must notify us of any issue within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • All return requests must be submitted within 14 days from the delivery date.
  • Late requests will not be accepted.

4. Return Process

  1. Contact us first via email with your order number, photos of the item (if damaged), and reason for return.
  2. Once approved, we will provide return shipping instructions.
  3. Ship the items back in their original, unopened packaging.
  4. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error (wrong or damaged item).

5. Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned items, we will process your refund within 5–10 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Shipping fees (original outbound shipping) are non-refundable, except when the return is caused by our mistake.
  • Refunds exclude any customs duties or taxes paid on international orders.

6. Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened seed packets
  • Seeds that have been planted or partially used
  • Products damaged due to customer mishandling during shipping back to us
  • Items returned without prior approval
  • Personalized or custom orders (if any)

7. Seed Germination Disclaimer

We cannot accept returns or issue refunds based on germination results. Germination depends on many external factors including soil, temperature, watering, and planting techniques. All seeds are sold with no guaranteed germination rate.
